        The state protects its people, their rights and gives them equal opportunities of quality life.

        First and foremost, it is a human right similar to gender equality. Like how men are treated, it’s as the same with women be. No gaps, no bias, its being fair enough.

        Women can keep pace with men. But unfortunately, some can’t make it. Instead some suffered violence and discrimination.

        Equal rights and equal opportunities are constitutional rights of the people. The government should ensure that all are given the protection against all abusive acts.

Responding to Climate Change

     The world is changing because the world climate is also changing. People make this climate change so we have to make move to address this problem.

        Go green and get back to basic. Many environmentalists encourage the participation of all sectors to save the world in the worst case scenario of climate change.

        The use of plastic bag is now discouraged because of its non-biodegradable state. Everyone must learn to recycle and re-use materials that are non-biodegradable.

       Natural resources must be preserve to preserve the future. Everyone must have a watchful eye to control the destruction of the nations natural resources. We must work hand in hand for the preservation of it.

      Climate change may result from both natural and human causes.Taking lives is one of its effects. So, we must take actions. Safe environment will save the world and lives. Let us live with safe and sound environment.

Promoting Digital Literacy through English Proficiency

Access to computer is everyone’s concern. Information on digital literacy is on the verge of promotion.

The promotion of digital literacy is the concern of the government particularly of the Department of Education. Since information technology is a worldwide phenomenon, a commonly known and accepted communication is necessary to deliver the best of its features. This commonly accepted communication is the English language.

In pursuit of digital literacy, English language shall be used to accelerate better understanding of the digital technology. With one medium and proficiency, the digital literacy is facilitated, consequently the society can actively participate in nation’s building through their technological and digital know-how.

With the English language, each country can participate in global digital concerns and issues. This is necessary to achieve global understanding and solidarity.

                Synergy is the combination or fusion of two or more things to form one thing.

            With today's competition in business world the idea of merger and fusion become the passion of the businessman and stockholders.In science,synergy is being promoted to come up with the best combination of science.A lot of experiments is done to discover things through the combination of two or more sciences.The potential of synergy as a process in combining sciences will maximize the development of another discovery.In synergy,the joining of two products can be done just like in the field of alternative and integrative medicines.

         Synergy will boost the potential of any discovery when the right combination is discovered or developed.This will certainly help human being in the quest of better and healthful living.

My Teacher, My Hero

           Where are the heroes of today? A radio talk show host thundered. He blame society’s shortcoming on education. Too many people are looking for heroes in all the wrong places. Movie stars and musicians, athlete and models aren’t heroes, they’re celebrities. Heroes are just around in schools, a fact that doesn’t make new.

         Just in our locality, we saw these teachers devotion to their duties , they are my hands down heroes because these men and women in this profession shoulder the most difficult task of providing a better education to the country’s future leader. Without teacher, there is no lawyer, engineer, doctor and others. Their contribution to the teaching profession, the integrity and competence they continue to uphold is undeniable. My teacher has a lot of contribution in uplifting the quality of education in our school.

             Like any other teacher, consider nothing more rewarding than to be able to finally witness her/his student become the best that they could be. They treat their work not only a profession but also a passion and a delight.

Modern Day Heroes

         When we talk about heroes, first that comes to our mind was our heroes who gave their life for the freedom of our country. For today’s generation, do we have a hero?

        Indeed, for me, modern day heroes are found in school. What I’m pointing out is no other than teachers. They are the reason why we are able to learn so much. They are able to produce country’s leaders and future leaders. “Great achievement of a student is a pleasure of a teacher” – when the student was able to graduate and was able to achieve his/her ambition, the teachers feel pleasure for they we’re part of the success of their student before.

   Sometimes teachers are misunderstood. They are strict and unpredictable but it’s their way of motivating student to study well.

       Teaching is a difficult and hard profession with a need of sacrificing. I have undergone teachers which are very devoted. Some are picture of unwanted character but I understand their motive and purpose behind it. For me, Teachers are the modern day heroes.

PNOY's SONA 2011

Another historic event happened last July 25, 2011 as our Pres. Benigno Simeon Aquino III delivered his State of the Nation Address (SONA) at the Session Hall of the House of Representatives, Batasang Pambansa Complex, Quezon City.

In general, PNOY’s speech was full of sincerity, it was definitely understandable and delivered clearly for the language used was “Tagalog” and lastly, I admire him because he doesn’t had any paper to read in front of country’s citizens. When his SONA was done there was mixed reactions coming from concerned Filipinos. From being laudable for its sincerity, simplicity and clarity to disappointing for its lack of content and substance. He didn’t talk about what most Filipinos are waiting for especially for the country’s farmers and laborers. The farmers that were hoping for the land reform program and the laborers for the increasing of their salary but PNOY failed to define it. He focused on anti-corruption and anti-poverty measures. He didn’t mention clearly about the concrete programs to curb poverty. Despite of that, a change had happened and folks of the Philippines are still hoping for betterment. I guess this is now the beginning. PNOY touched on the positive action of the administration primarily on the social services. He has spell-out clearly that his government is absolute.

Yes! We could see that our country is in good governance and feel a little change but PNOY still have to make plans for the development of the country and need strategies that would bring us to a progressive one.

Isulong ang Breastfeeding Tama, Sapat at Ekskusibo

“Breastfeeding is best for babies up to two years of age and beyond” a commercial by UNILAB I often heard whenever I watched television before. Well, it’s true right? Breastfeeding is what a baby needs to ensure his/her proper growth and development.

Breastfeeding rank among the most effective interventions to improve child's survival. Mother's milk is the best food possible for the newborn baby and it also works as a nutritional supplement. Although we have those milk like Nido, Bearbrand, and others still breastfeeding is the best for it contains perfect combinations of supplements which could help the baby to have a stronger resistance against illness, to be healthy and for fast growing system. As for the mother, she will not get diseases like cancer if she used to breastfeed her baby.  Breastfeeding have many advantage or benefit especially to the baby and also for the mother. Many mothers find that they truly enjoy the process of breast feeding their babies, especially when they realize that their baby will be happier and healthier as a result of breast feeding!

Proper, adequate, and exclusive breastfeeding should be practice by mothers to their babies. If this happen, good health and nutrition which is vital for every growing baby would be able to attain.

Poverty strikes us starting from the past until now. Many people are really affected by it. All I know is job is what we need. Please make steps on how to give work to the less fortunate families in order for them to sustain every day needs of their family. Because of poverty crime exists. It makes another problem that needs to be solved. Poverty is the root of what’s happening around us. I hope you could do changes to uplift us in our bracket of society today.
