New Year, New Me

Day by day, month by month, another year had past, here I am, still enjoying precious life that Almighty God has given and I thank Him for that.
New Year means “regeneration” for me.It is entering into a new spiritual life. Leave the way of living before and live better than before. I’ll not repeat wrong practices in fact I’ve learned something from those experiences. I just simply do good things in life, be who I am, make the best of what I can so that in the end I would have no regrets instead satisfaction will be felt in me. I do cherish life. And in every moment surely I will not trifle away.

Keeping In Mind Our Mother Tongue

The beauty of communication is not the kind of language used but rather the spirit of the language.
We understand each other because of the language we used, as well as we misunderstand each other because of the language we used.
To make things easier for us to understand each other is to keep in mind our mother tongue – ILOCO. The use of Iloco as our communication tool will bridge any gap among Ilocanos. We have to make Iloco as our tool to reach out people, to spread the good news, to tell good stories and to share success stories. The purpose of communication is to deliver the message we want to send to other people. So the best way to attain this purpose is to use our mother tongue – ILOCO – the medium we are born with and the medium we are comfortable with.

Essence of Christmas

According to the Catholic Church, Christmas symbolizes the birth of Jesus Christ. Christmas brings joy to the Christian world because it reminds of the coming of the Savior.
Christmas is a celebration of hope because Jesus Christ come to join his people and was a living inspiration to the less fortunate and the sick. Christmas is not the gifts that are give and receive but the love that Jesus has given. For what the material things can give is just a temporary fleeting emotion but the thing that Jesus has given and will give is a something permanent and of the greatest and highest value – His love to all of us.
